About Our Lean Construction Consultancy
Lean Touch Solutions Limited (LTSL) is a leading Lean Construction Consultancy Ireland established in 2012. We partner with clients across Europe to drive measurable improvements in productivity and operational efficiency through Lean transformation, behavioural change, and practical application of Lean tools and techniques.
Lean Construction Consultancy Born from Automotive Precision
Founder Declan Holahan brought over a decade of Lean Automotive experience to the construction and infrastructure industries. His goal was to bridge the productivity gap between manufacturing and sectors like construction, biotech, and software. As a result, Lean Touch Solutions was created to help businesses build smarter, faster, and more collaboratively.
In 2018, LTSL was one of the first Lean Construction Consultancies recognised by Lean Construction Ireland— highlighting our industry leadership and pioneering approach.

Established in 2012, Lean Touch Solutions Limited is a leading Lean consultancy that has partnered with clients across Europe to enhance productivity through a wide range of Lean transformation strategies, behaviour-based change programs, and advanced Lean tools and techniques.
Lean Construction applies proven Lean manufacturing principles to construction projects — focusing on eliminating waste, optimising workflow, and maximising value for the client. Unlike traditional project management, which relies on top-down scheduling and siloed working, Lean Construction engages all stakeholders collaboratively from design through to handover.
Our services span the full Lean transformation journey: Last Planner System® (LPS) implementation, Pull Planning workshops, Value Stream Mapping (VSM) training, 5S, SMED, Target Value Design (TVD), Lean Transformational Training, and Behavioural Change Programs.
The Last Planner System® is a collaborative planning methodology that empowers the people closest to the work to plan and commit to realistic, achievable tasks, improving reliability and reducing disruption.
Teams often see measurable improvements within weeks, while full Lean transformation typically unfolds over several months with ongoing coaching.
No. Lean principles scale to all project sizes. SMEs benefit just as much as large infrastructure projects.
We are Dublin-based and serve Ireland, the UK, and wider Europe across multiple projects.
We bring a manufacturing-grade Lean approach and embed directly with teams to deliver lasting improvements.
Yes. Our Lean tools apply across manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, and service industries.
Lean Construction applies proven Lean manufacturing principles to construction projects - focusing on eliminating waste, optimising workflow, and maximising value for the client. Unlike traditional project management, which relies on top-down scheduling and siloed working, Lean Construction engages all stakeholders collaboratively from design through to handover. The result is more reliable schedules, fewer delays, reduced rework, and better outcomes for everyone on the project.
Our services span the full Lean transformation journey: Last Planner System® (LPS) implementation, Pull Planning workshops, Value Stream Mapping (VSM) training, 5S, SMED, Target Value Design (TVD), Lean Transformational Training, and Behavioural Change Programs. We also provide ongoing coaching to ensure that improvements are embedded and sustained well after the initial engagement.
The Last Planner System® is a collaborative planning methodology that empowers the people closest to the work - foremen, supervisors, and trade partners - to plan and commit to realistic, achievable tasks. Rather than imposing a top-down schedule, LPS uses weekly planning meetings, lookahead sessions, and promises-made vs promises-kept tracking to dramatically improve schedule reliability and reduce on-site disruption.
Teams often see measurable improvements within weeks of introducing LPS and collaborative planning workshops. A full Lean transformation - including cultural change and embedded behaviours across the supply chain - typically unfolds over several months. Lean Touch Solutions provides ongoing coaching throughout the process to ensure progress is sustained.
Not at all. Lean principles scale to any project size. While we have experience on major infrastructure and commercial projects across Europe, smaller contractors and SMEs benefit equally from tools like Pull Planning, the Last Planner System, and 5S - all of which improve communication and efficiency regardless of project scope.
We are a Dublin-based Lean Construction consultancy, established in 2012. We partner with clients across Ireland, the UK, and wider Europe - having delivered on projects in more than 7 countries, with a combined portfolio exceeding €7 billion in construction value.
Our founder's background in Lean Automotive gives us a manufacturing-grade approach that most construction-only consultancies simply don't have. In 2018 we were one of the first consultancies officially commended by Lean Construction Ireland (LCi). We work hands-on with project teams - we don't just advise, we embed. Clients return to us because the improvements we deliver last.
Yes. While construction is our primary focus, our Lean tools - including Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Kaizen, and Lean Six Sigma - are fully applicable across manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, and service industries. If your organisation wants to reduce waste and improve operational efficiency, we can tailor our approach to your sector.
