MSD Dunboyne is a state-of-the-art biologics manufacturing facility located in County Meath, Ireland. It represents MSD’s first Biologics Drug Substance Single-Use Commercialisation Facility. The site accelerates the delivery of new medicines to patients by using flexible and efficient single-use technologies.
Lean Touch Solutions has partnered with MSD Dunboyne across multiple high-value projects, delivering expert Lean Construction services. These efforts have not only supported the site’s development from its initial construction but also enabled key automation upgrades and the installation of advanced equipment.
As a result, our work reflects a long-term commitment to operational excellence. A typical project phase may include activities valued at approximately €650K over 12 months, often requiring the coordination of up to 12 project teams. So far, we have helped install and commission over 120 complex systems, and we have trained 150 partners in Lean practices. This has contributed significantly to fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the entire site.
