Yellow Belt Programme

Definition:
Yellow Belt is an introductory Continuous Improvement Programme. It leverages Lean & Six Sigma methodologies to improve performance by systematically removing waste
Programme Target Audience:
Employees who need to engage in Continuous Improvement and problem solving as part of their daily role.
Aims and Deliverables:
Provide candidates with a basic introduction to the Continuous Improvement (Lean & Six Sigma) techniques through a mixture of classroom based training and delivery of a small improvement project Help participants receive certification (based on project completion with quantified financial and business benefits, short written multiple choice examination)
Classroom Training (2 Days)
Introduction to Lean and Six Sigma techniques with focus on the DMAIC process for driving improvement projects Overview of specific tools required, Project Charter, Business Process Mapping, Basic data capture, Fishbone, 5S, Mistake-Proofing, Basic control charts etc. 1 Hr Multiple choice exam based on the theory of continuous improvement (5 Hrs of study expected)
Improvement Project
  • Participants must partake in an improvement project in their area of work
  • Projects should deliver €5 – €15k savings and be delivered in an 8 – 12 weeks timeframe
  • Regular individual mentoring session will be provided by Lean Touch Solutions Limited.

2 days training class.
2 days mentoring class on projects.
