Green Belt Programme

Definition:
Green Belt is a detailed Continuous Improvement Programme. It leverages Lean & Six Sigma methodologies with an increased emphasis on measurement and data analysis to deliver process improvements.
Programme Target Audience:
Employees who need to engage in Continuous Improvement and problem solving as part of their daily role.  Candidates are asked to have completed successfully the Yellow belt programme in advance of entering onto Green Belt Programme.
Aims and Deliverables:
Introduction to the Continuous Improvement Green Belt Programme Process Improvement Teams and Change Management Culture DMAIC Structure with increased focus on measurement &  data analysis
Classroom Training (2 Days)
Lean and Six Sigma tools & techniques with focus on the DMAIC process for driving improvement projects. Overview of specific tools required, Project Charter, Business Process Mapping, Basic data capture, Fishbone, 5S, Mistake-Proofing, Basic control charts etc. 2 Hr Multiple choice exam based on the theory of continuous improvement (10 Hrs of study expected)
Improvement Project
Participants must partake in an improvement project ( medium / large size) in their area of work Projects should deliver €15 – €150k savings and be delivered in a 24 weeks timeframe. Regular individual mentoring session will be provided by Lean Touch Solutions Limited over the 24week period.

4 days training class.
4 days mentoring class on projects.
